UK – Dartmouth Partners acquires Pure Search

20 September 2019

Dartmouth Partners, a London-based recruitment consultancy, announced that it acquired privately owned recruitment firm Pure Search.

Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

Pure Search was established in 1999 and focuses on finding talent in tax, legal, finance, risk and compliance. It has grown to have offices in London, New York, Berlin, Hong Kong and Singapore. Its shareholders were said to have been looking at how best to maximise the potential of the business.

Dartmouth Partners said the acquisition allows it to continue its global expansion and rapid growth. The deal also allows Pure Search to accelerate its investment in its business. For both firms, there will be an increased ability to cross-sell into a combined premium client base.

The deal was backed by Literacy Capital, which invested in Dartmouth in June 2018 to support the firm in expanding its footprint.

Dartmouth Partners, founded in 2012 by CEO Logan Naidu, is headquartered in London, and has offices in Paris and Frankfurt. It specialises in finding talent in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, consulting, CFO & accountancy and legal sectors.

Naidu will become CEO of the new group and is said to be looking for more search firm acquisitions.
