UK – Carter Wellington launches “Uber-style” platform for freelance recruiters

07 December 2018

UK-based recruitment group Carter Wellington has recently launched a new concept for the recruitment industry, enabling recruitment professionals to work independently as freelancers while eliminating the need for financing or resources to create everything from scratch.

The company aims to disrupt the recruitment industry with this concept for recruiters which is similar to online staffing platforms such as Upwork.

The Carter Wellington platform provides recruiters with a global business identity, website, email, application tracking, CRM (Customer Relationship Management) with integrated social networking and marketing. The cloud-based platform also connects with a global collective of other like-minded recruiters sharing the same passion for the industry.

Nick Hays, Member of the Board at Carter Wellington, commented, “Our mission is to create the world’s largest network of autonomous freelance recruiters while providing the integrated tools and technology normally reserved for the largest recruitment companies. Recruiters using the platform benefit from the increase in visibility and credibility that Carter Wellington confers, all while connecting them to a global network to ensure they can achieve phenomenal growth. Technology has changed the face of the recruitment industry and that’s what we are offering recruiters; the chance to shake up the system and make it work better for everyone.”

The platform allows freelance recruiters to work when, where and how they like. According to Carter Wellington, recruiters will also keep a minimum of 75% of the billings. The platform is open to all recruiters at no cost and is available in any location across any industry vertical.
