UK – Carlisle Managed Solutions wins RPO contract

The recruitment outsourcing specialists (RPO) Carlisle Managed Solutions has won a contract in the public sector with Hertfordshire County Council’s to provide temporary staff recruitment.

The contract will start in April 2013, offering temporary staffing solutions to Hertfordshire County Council, which was the first public sector body to fully outsource its recruitment 12 years ago.

“We are delighted to be awarded the contract with Hertfordshire County Council for the provision of their temporary staff recruitment. Our managed solutions model not only provides efficiencies and cost management benefits to a diverse portfolio of private and public sector clients, but takes into account cultural, ethical, and socially responsible objectives,” said managing director Melanie Forbes.

Cabinet Member for Resources and Economic Well-being, David Lloyd, commented that “in a time of austerity, cost-effectiveness has got to be a priority – and Carlisle scored highly in this area. Their  expertise will help us recruit good quality temporary workers much more quickly and efficiently.”

Earlier this year, the firm secured a vendor contract with law firm Eversheds, as well as a managed services contract with retailer John Lewis.

Carlisle Managed Solutions provides both private and public sector clients with temporary, permanent, contingent and contract resourcing solutions. The firm is part of Impellam Group, one of the 20 largest staffing firms in the world.
