UK – Businesses set to continue hiring in 2017 despite Brexit concerns (International Business Times)

20 December 2016

Job growth in the UK is expected to continue in 2017 despite businesses being concerned over the medium and long term effects of Brexit, reports the International Business Times UK, with data from a joint survey from Confederation of British Industry and Pertemps. The survey showed that 41% of businesses across the country are planning to increase their workforce in 2017 with permanent job opportunities outgrowing temporary recruitment. Moreover, next year’s recruitment expectations are down from the previous year. More than half, or 58% of respondents, said they are concerned about access to skilled migrants after Brexit.
