Swiss Just-in-Time staffing firm, Staff Finder, has rebranded as Coople and launched a new version of its platform. The six-year-old company said the name is short, simple and concise and embodies the simplest link between employee and employer. Rebranding is also a result of the global expansion course the company launched last year, which included a growth equity investment and entry into the UK market.

Just-in-Time staffing refers to a relatively new and distinct category of online staffing platforms that facilitate short-term, shift-based, on-site, “blue collar” work engagements found and accepted via a smartphone application. Workers can “choose” the jobs they want more or less freely, as the platform vets workers prior to letting them work. Unlike other online staffing platforms providing freelancers, Just-in-Time staffing firms often provide temporary agency workers and take responsibility for the workers’ tax and social charges. Staff Finder is the earliest known example of this category of staffing supplier having been founded in 2009. Parallel to the rebranding, Coople has launched a completely revised version of its platform.

The company has evolved from a pure online human resource provider for short-term and short-term work assignments to a comprehensive HR service provider for the flexible working world, said founder, CEO and Chairman Viktor Calabrò.
