Switzerland – Number of job ads reach record level of growth in 2016

According to the latest Michael Page Swiss Job Index, the number of jobs advertised in Switzerland grew by 33.3% since the beginning of the year (January to September 2016). This is the strongest growth over the period since the start of the index in 2012.

Between August and September 2016, the number of jobs advertised in Switzerland increased by 7.8%.

The Index showed that 9 out of 10 jobs are published in German-speaking Switzerland, for a growth of 7.8% in the region between August and September 2016. Over the same period, the increase in the number of jobs posted is at 8.7%, in French-speaking Switzerland, but Eastern Switzerland and Central Switzerland notes that the largest increases, with 11.2% and 10.2% respectively.
