The Michael Page Swiss Job Index explains that the growth in the logistics, purchasing and supply chain sector is due to increasing pressure exerted on the profit margins of Swiss companies and by the very high stability of the national supply chain. "The outlook for the rest of the coming year is equally positive for employers and employees alike," Charles Franier, Executive Director at Michael Page, said. "We are already seeing a significant demand for supply chain specialists and experts in production planning for others. At the same time, thanks to training opportunities, the importance of these sectors and the growing awareness of candidates about the opportunities offered by logistics areas, purchasing and supply chain, there are more and more profiles qualified with previous experience in Switzerland.”
