29 May 2019

Egon Zehnder, a US-based executive search firm, acquired a minority stake in Sinequanon, a firm that uses artificial intelligence to improve workplace culture.

Sinequanon is a privately held company founded in 2015 and based in Zurich, Switzerland. It also has operations in South Africa and the Czech Republic. It has a team of 60 people.

The company has developed an assessment and coaching system intended to improve workplace culture. It includes a 360-degree feedback program for leaders.

“We hear consistently from clients that culture change is one of the most challenging aspects of leadership,” Egon Zehnder Chairwoman Jill Ader said in a statement. “In SQN, we have found an innovative partner to deliver integrated services to our clients by marrying both human leadership insights and pioneering technology.”

Egon Zehnder also said it has expanded its offerings previously by partnering with Mobius Executive Leadership, a firm based in London and Cambridge, Massachusetts, that provides executive development programs. It has also partnered with Paradox Strategies, a firm that also provides analysis related to company culture.
