Sweden – NGS sees strong growth

The Swedish recruiter NGS Group, a niche specialist provider, today reported that revenue in the third quarter of the year grew strongly by +86% to €5.7 million (SEK 49.3 million) with the firm seeing high demand in the period.

The company, among the 20 largest staffing specialists in Sweden, provides personnel to the healthcare and education sectors across the country.

Operating profit in the quarter grew by +58% to €0.47 million (SEK 4.1 million) while profit after tax more than doubled (+61%) to €0.33 million (SEK 2.9 million).

The company said it profited from important client and contract wins in the three months to June.

“The staffing industry has evolved positively during the first part of 2012,” said CEO Ingrid Nordlund in a statement. She does not expect a slowdown and remains confident about the coming quarters.

NGS operates through a number of subsidiaries and provides temporary staffing services to educational and catering sectors. The firm also specialises in recruitment services to psychiatric care units, as well as general healthcare services to public and private operators.

The company has significantly grown its market value in the past year with the latest share price showing a +90% increase from a year ago at SEK 47.50. This gives NGS a market capitalisation of €10.68 million (SEK 91.82 million).
