Sweden – NGS Group reports third quarter revenue up 12%

NGS Group (NGS: SS), the Swedish healthcare and education staffing firm, reported revenue for the second quarter ending 30 September 2017 of SEK 168.4 million (€17.3 million), an increase of 12.4% compared with the same period last year.

NGS reported that its third quarter was the strongest ever in terms of turnover. During the quarter the group signed a number of framework agreements.

As of 2017, a change in segment reporting has been carried out in line with NGS's strategy. The new segment report consists of two segments, Crew (Care and School) and Lead Supply, which includes NGS Group business in the field of economics, where they are employed in recruitment and interim solutions for managers and specialists. The change has been made to better reflect NGS's business today and onwards. During the third quarter, net sales were 87% for the Crew segment and 13% for the Leadership segment.

NGS stated that its goal is to grow over time by at least 10% organically and through acquisitions. “Ownership in the acquired companies should be the size that NGS can influence and actively take part in its operation. The acquisitions as implemented should complement the group and synergise with NGS’ other operations,” the group announced.

In trading today, NGS Group traded at SEK 48.20 (€4.96), down 5.49% on the day and 10.80% above the 52 week low of SEK 43.50 (€4.47) set on 9 November 2016. Based on its current share price the company has a market value of SEK 460.17 million (€47.34 million).
