Maxkompetens Sverige AB, a Swedish staffing firm, has signed an agreement to acquire a 100% stake in Magna AB for SEK 18.6 million (€1.9 million).

 Magna AB is also a Sweden-based provider of staffing and recruitment services. The agreement will include a consideration of SEK 9 million (€0.9 million) in cash and SEK 9.6 million (€0.9 million) through an issue of shares.

Maxkompetens Sverige mainly specialises in the provision of engineering, IT and industrials professionals. The company stated that the acquisition will strengthen its position in the Stockholm market.

The transaction is expected to close in June 2017.
