Sweden – Hedera Group second-quarter revenue and profits boosted by acquisitions

Swedish recruitment services firm Hedera Group (HEGR:SS) reported revenue for the second quarter ended 30 June 2018 of SEK 57.9 million (€5.5 million), an increase of 54% compared to last year.

Revenue in the second quarter was boosted by acquisitions made in the first quarter including the acquisition of medical training company Baerendz & Haeger and Ambio Health, a company which focuses on emergency care services, private healthcare providers and occupational health services.

In May 2018 Hedera Group acquired nurse staffing firm Addus Care AB, from owner Maria Nordin for SEK 10 million (€1.1 million). The group was founded in 2015. The company was consolidated as of May 2018.

In May 2018, Maria Nordin was appointed as CEO of Hedera Group. The company also appointed Pål Jernhag as CFO in the same month.

In July 2018, the group announced that it had appointed Linda Uddén as Vice President.

As of last trade the company traded at SEK 8.50 (€0.81), no change on the day. Based on its current share price the company had a market value of SEK 47.74 million (€4.5 million).
