Swedish recruitment services firm Hedera Group announced that it has acquired Baehrendtz & Haeger, a Swedish medical staffing and training firm, for SEK 23 million (€2.3 million).

Baehrendtz & Haeger is a niche employer of gynaecology and obstetrics and provides staffing for clinics in Sweden.

"In Hedera we have extensive experience in medical staff and gynaecology gives us an interesting opportunity to develop a new area of ​​medical staff,” Bertil Haglund, CEO for Hedera Group, said. “There are big and clear synergies with other activities that enable us to continue to increase sales and improve profitability.”

The Board of Directors of Hedera Group will call for an Extraordinary General Meeting on 16 March 2018. The proposal is to decide on a rights issue of SEK 15.9 million (€1.6 million) and a targeted issue of SEK 7 million (€0.7 million), both at the price of SEK 12.60 (€1.27) per share. The entire issue is guaranteed to 100%. A warrant will also be offered to the issue.
