Sweden – Almega appoints new CEO

04 June 2019

Almega, the employer and trade organisation for the Swedish services sector, announced that it has appointed Thomas Erséus as new CEO and federal director of Almega Service Federation.

Erséus takes office on 12 August 2019 and succeeds Anna-Karin Hatt.

Erséus’ background in the service sector includes 30 years of experience in consulting, IT and the real estate industry. Erséus was previously Chief Real Estate Officer at Ericsson AB.

“I am both happy and proud to have the confidence to lead the work in Sweden's largest employer organisation in the service sector. I look forward to working with Almega's competent and committed employees to work closely with its many member companies to create the best possible conditions for the Swedish service sector,” Erséus said.

“As new CEO, Erséus will continue to work on developing Almega as an organisation with a focus on increasing membership benefits and thereby ensuring that we are also relevant in the future for both current and new member companies, both in existing and emerging industries. We see that Thomas, with his background and his well-known good leadership, is very well suited to lead this work together with Almega's competent employees,” Marcus Kristiansson, Chairman of the Board of Almega, said.
