Gary Goldsmith, co-founder of The Recruitment Directors Lunch Club, a membership club for staffing executives has joined contestants in the latest series of the UK’s Celebrity Big Brother airing on ITV1 and ITVX.

Goldsmith acts as mentor/advisor to numerous staffing firms and his participation in the industry goes back to 1993 when he joined Computer Futures and went on to became instrumental in the growth of SThree. Between 2012 and 2013 he was COO of InterQuest Group.

But it is not his achievements in the staffing industry that have won him a place on Celebrity Big Brother but the fact he is the brother of Carole Middleton (née Goldsmith) and the maternal uncle of Catherine, Princess of Wales.

Goldsmith’s career has been marked by controiversy and, by participating in the TV show, he says he aims to "put the record straight" on his "bad boy reputation".
