Spain – Revenue jumps by 90% at staffing platform Jobandtalent

08 February 2023

Jobandtalent, a digital staffing platform based in Madrid, reported Tuesday that 2022 revenue rose by 90% year over year to a total of €1.9 billion.

Co-Founder and CEO Juan Urdiales said the strength of the company’s business model helped drive growth.

“We rapidly adjusted to the changed market conditions last year by reducing new hires, expansion investments and cutting unnecessary costs,” Urdiales said. “The entire team made a huge effort to optimize efficiency, which was necessary in a company that has grown so much — from €350 million revenue in 2020 to €1.9 billion in 2022. This effort really paid off as we’re extremely well positioned to face the opportunities and challenges of the year ahead.”

Jobandtalent also reported that it has invested more than €450 million in product and geographic expansion over the past three years. In 2022 alone, Jobandtalent’s acquisitions included Norwegian staffing platform Jobzone, UK-based AI hiring platform Jump and the light industrial staffing business of US based BGSF Inc.

In addition, Jobandtalent noted that it connected more than 340,000 workers with hiring companies on its platform in 2022. More than 2,500 clients in sectors such as warehousing, food manufacturing, transportation, delivery and administration currently work through the platform.

Jobandtalent also opened two tech hubs in Alicante, Spain, and Poznań, Poland, looking to build a diverse global tech team to enhance its service for workers and clients. Jobandtalent also recently announced Yaron Zeidman as chief technology officer.
