Italian staffing firm Gi Group announced that its subsidiary Gi BPO, has acquired the logistics division of Spanish BPO firm Tuntac, expanding Gi Group’s presence in Spain, reports the RRHH Press. Included in the deal is a workforce of 500 workers from Tuntac, as well as a network of warehouses in Barcelona. Luis del Olmo, International Outsourcing Director of Gi BPO, said "the purchase of Tuntac will allow us to consolidate our position as a company specialised in the outsourcing of logistics processes, and increase our references and our customer base with top-level multinational companies.”
