Spain – Economic growth could exceed 2.5% for the next few year, 500,000 jobs to be created (Reuters)

30 March 2017

Spain's economic growth could top 2.5% every year for the next two to four years, reports Reuters. Economy Minister Luis de Guindos said the economic growth will come from faster job creation and stated that the country's unemployment rate would be below 17% this year with more than 500,000 jobs to be created. The government is expected to update its economic growth forecasts on Friday when it presents its 2017 budget proposal, though it will leave the current expectations of 2.5% growth for this year unchanged.
