The African National Congress has declared unemployment in South Africa a national emergency, reports eNCA. ANC Secretary General, Ace Magashule, said that the ruling party aimed to reduce the country’s unemployment rate by half within the next five years. South Africa’s current unemployment rate stands at 26.7% while the ANC is targeting a 14% rate.
