Edinburgh-based construction and property recruitment specialist BBR Services announced that it has acquired Star Placement, a property recruitment firm also based in Edinburgh, for an undisclosed sum.

BBR Services was founded in 2014 and has expanded to a team of 12 with offices in London and Glasgow. The acquisition of Star Placement makes it the first purchase since 2015 when BBR Services acquired West Central Staff, another Scottish-based residential property recruitment firm.

Star Placement was founded in 2008 by Eleanor Leith and has built a portfolio of mainly residential property clients in the Central Belt and North East of Scotland. The company currently employs a team of four and generated £500,000 in revenue last year. While Leith will step down from her role, Star’s remaining employees will join the BBR Services team.
