Poland – Fewer Poles are planning on taking jobs overseas

24 May 2018

The number of working-age Poles who plan to take a job overseas fell to 11.8% this year, down 2% from last year and the lowest figure in four years according to survey data from Work Service.

The study from Work Service found that higher wages were the biggest motivator for those who plan on emigrating to another country for work.

Germany ranked highest for the country where Poles wanted to emigrate to the most, followed by the Netherlands which replaced the UK as number 2.
