International recruitment specialist Staffgroup, part of Cordant Group, has appointed Saman Tabrizi as its new managing director. Tabrizi previously worked as Managing Director of the Eurostaff Group. As part of his responsibilities, Tabrizi will now oversee both of Staffgroup’s companies, Eurostaff and Earthstaff, in London, Berlin and Hamburg. He will now be primarily based in London and will report to Chris Kenneally, CEO of Cordant Group.

Korn Ferry subsidiary Futurestep has added two advisors to its senior team in the EMEA region. James Peskett has been appointed a Managing Consultant in Futurestep's EMEA Search Consumer Practice, based in London while Andreas Perklitsch joins as Managing Consultant in the EMEA Search Life Sciences Practice in Germany.  Prior to joining Futurestep, Peskett worked at Miramar Executive Search, where he was in charge of their global consumer practice. Perklitsch previously worked with Life Science Executive Search firm RSA Group.

Korn Ferry announced that Philippe De Backer has joined the firm as a Senior Client Partner. He will be based in the firm’s Dubai office, while serving clients globally. De Backer brings to the firm more than 20 years of expertise in financial services, insurance and capital markets. De Back joins from Bain & Company, where he most recently served as Partner Advisor to the Global Financial Services practice, overseeing intellectual capital and senior talent development.

Pedersen & Partners, an international Executive Search firm has announced that Tim Cox has joined its Hong Kong team as a Regional Client Partner covering Asia Pacific. Cox has more than two decades of Executive Search expertise across the Banking, Financial Services, and Private Equity sectors in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific. Cox previously served as Director, Financial Services Practice for Harvey Nash Executive Search APAC.

Norman Broadbent Group has appointed Paul Aldrich as managing director of financial services within its executive search practice.  Aldrich has 20 years of executive search experience working for boutiques and large global firms. His work has covered banking, asset and wealth management, and insurance across EMEA, APAC and the US.
