Advancer Global (43Q:SES), an integrated services provider offering workforce solutions and services in Singapore, appointed Tan Aik Lye Brian as Deputy Chief Operating Officer. Previously he was director, group human resources and corporate affairs, at Advancer. He will report to the CEO and is responsible for overseeing day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the group's businesses; designing and implementing business operations to improve productivity and efficiency; setting comprehensive goals for performance and growth and evaluating the performance by analysing and interpreting data and metrics; establishing policies that promote company culture and vision; participating in expansion activities as well as assisting the CEO in any other matters.

Staffmax Staffing & Recruiting Corp. a Global Workforce Solutions provider announced the formation of Staffmax AB (Sweden) and an expansion into Sweden. Staffmax AB will be based in Stockholm and led by Staffmax European Director Mika Rauhala. Under the terms of the agreement, wholly owned subsidiaries Staffmax ltd (UK) and Staffmax oy (Finland) are the sole shareholders in new entity Staffmax (AB). The new entity will expand the global footprint of Staffmax while providing staffing, recruitment and EOR (employer of record) services throughout Sweden.

The Recruitment and Employment Confederation appointed Alyx Peters as the first Chair of its Advisory Council. She will lead the Advisory Council in supporting the REC’s Board and leadership staff. The REC’s Advisory Council was created to support the Board by inputting on strategy, policy and the direction of the organisation. The Advisory Council meets twice a year and its members bring valuable expertise, knowledge and understanding of their specialist sectors and regions to the REC’s governance structure. Peters has been working in recruitment since 2001 and is currently the CEO of Network Recruitment Wales. She is also the Managing Director of MPS Healthcare and SET Recruitment.

AdvTech announced that Jacqueline Chimhanzi, a non-executive director of the ADvTech Board and member of the Audit and Risk Committee, has been appointed as a chairperson of the Transformation, Social and Ethics Committee Committee on which she previously served as a member.
