The Adecco Group UK and Ireland has appointed Sandeep Bhandal as head of sales strategy and solutions. Bhandal will report directly to Alex Fleming (country head and president of staffing and solutions, The Adecco Group UK&I). Prior to his appointment with the Adecco Group, Bhandal was director at Penna, which was acquired by the Adecco Group in 2016.  In his new position, Sandeep will focus on seamlessly integrating The Adecco Group’s huge portfolio of brands. He will have responsibility for identifying trends that will impact the industry, analysing what this means for clients and adjusting the company’s strategy accordingly. 

Digital recruitment platform Adia announced that it has appointed Terry Payne as country manager for the UK, while Kim MacDonald has been promoted to head of operations for Adia UK from regional manager for the North. Payne joined Adia’s parent company the Adecco Group in 2010 as an operations manager. MacDonald previously worked with the Spring Group before joining the Adecco Group in 2016 as a branch manager.

IT recruitment solutions firm Marlin Green appointed Ross Gorton as Chief Financial Officer. Gorton previously worked with ManpowerGroup, most recently as Finance Director, European Special Projects.
