Norway – Adecco looking to recruit nurses from Spain

10 July 2013

Adecco Helse, a large provider of staff to the healthcare institutions throughout Norway, is looking to recruit up to 100 nurses from Spain to work across Norway. Candidates will have to work for at least six weeks at a time, with Adecco Helse covering travel expenses between Norway and major Spanish cities for up to six trips per year.

Those interested in the roles will be offered free Norwegian language lessons, accommodation, and a salary between €24 and €31 per hour, depending on shift patterns. Applicants must have a minimum of two years’ experience and have a diploma in order to be officially registered as a nurse in Norway. Applicants also need a level of English sufficient to communicate during the selection process. Prior to acceptance, candidates must pass a Norwegian language test.

The recruitment strategy is being launched by Adecco in conjunction with EURES, the European Employment Services. EURES, a body within the European Commission, provides information, advice, and recruitment/placement services for the benefit of workers and employers, as well as any citizen wishing to benefit from the principle of the free movement of persons throughout Europe; including Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein.
