Dutch payroll specialist Pay for People Group has acquired Tentoo, a payroll service company also based in the Netherlands.

No further details of the transaction were disclosed. Tentoo will retain its own identity after the acquisition.

Last year, Pay for People acquired Holland Payroll and launched Freek, a service for Dutch freelancers.

“Our merger with Tentoo connects to us seamlessly and strengthens our position in the freelance payroll segment," Dennis Luyten, director Pay for People Group, said.

Tentoo first launched 25 years ago under the name Payroll Services and served freelance professionals in the audio-visual sector before expanding their services. Pay for People states that it works in flexible employment and provides services for businesses, staffing firms and self-employed workers.
