Netherlands – ManpowerGroup acquires majority stake in iSense ICT Professionals

15 May 2014

As part of its growth strategy, ManpowerGroup has acquired a majority stake in Dutch staffing company iSense, which specialises in the placement of permanent and contract ICT staff.

According to ManpowerGroup, the acquisition will improve growth in the professional staffing segment. iSense’s placement of skilled IT contract workers also complements the existing service provided by Experis IT, part of ManpowerGroup.

iSense will continue to operate as a separate brand and will retain its existing management team under the purview of Jilko Andringa, a Director at ManpowerGroup Netherlands.

Mr Andringa commented: “iSense ICT Professionals have a very good market, with a strong focus and ambition. We can now jointly accelerate the realisation of our aspirations. We therefore have a formula for success.”

Vincent Day, one of the Managing Directors of iSense, commented: “By committing to ManpowerGroup we see good opportunities, including broadening our customer base. This can only have a positive effect on our future.”

In March this year, ManpowerGroup also acquired a majority stake in Salary Profs, a Dutch payroll company.

Mr Andringa commented: “Expansion through acquisitions in not an end in itself, but we are focused strongly on growth. The labour market is in full motion, innovation and market position are critical. We are sure that with these two majority stake holdings we can be even more competitive.”
