Netherlands – Freelancers expect more jobs and higher pay in 2017

21 February 2017

According to data from the ZZP Barometer, two out of three freelancers in the Netherlands expect 2017 to be a better year with more jobs and increased pay than in 2016.

The data from the ZZP Barometer also shows that the main reasons for this freelancer confidence in the coming year is the expectation that there will be more demand (according to 63.4% of those polled) and that a higher rate of pay can be expected (34.4%). The data surveyed more than 800 Freelancers.

Moreover, 1 in 5 self-employed workers thinks the next year will bring lower costs. The data has also shown that self-employed workers were generally satisfied with the year 2016.
