Netherlands – Accent Covebo Group acquires Effect Personeelsdiensten

Netherlands-based Accent Covebo Group, a subsidiary of the House of HR, announced that it has acquired Dutch temp agency Effect Personeelsdiensten (Effect Personnel Services).

The Accent Covebo Group stated that with the acquisition, the company strengthens its position in the sectors of construction and engineering.

Accent Covebo states that it offers companies and candidates flexible recruitment solutions in construction, engineering, logistics and production. The company claimed that by 2016 1,400 companies and 13,800 candidates used the services of Accent Covebo.

"With a personal and professional approach of both organizations and candidates, Effect has been able to realise strong growth and profitability. Long-lasting relationships with customer and employee are the basis of this success, " Henk Buitink, CEO of Accent Covebo, said. "Through integration into Accent Covebo, Effect can now make use of our international recruitment network and the services of our support center.”

“Accent Covebo Group has as a strategic goal to facilitate 2,500 professionals in construction and engineering activities by 2021,” Buitink said. “This means a doubling over the current number of skilled workers. The acquisition of Effect Personnel Services fits perfectly into this strategic objective.” 

Dennis Ikink and Rick Scholten, the founders of Effect Personnel Services, will continue in their current role of management and stated that in collaboration with Accent Covebo Group, they will achieve their ambition of further growth and professionalization. They added that Effect will continue to operate as an independent and self-governing business.

No further financial details of the acquisition were disclosed.
