Logistic Force acquires Dutch temporary staffing firm Wiver

Logistic Force, an HR-services specialist active in the transportation and logistics segment, has acquired temporary staffing firm Wiver.

The effective date of the acquisition was 30 November 2023. The price of the transaction was not disclosed.

For Logistic Force, the acquisition enhances its commercial coverage in the Netherlands and gains access to the market for supplying recognised moving companies. Together, both companies anticipate surpassing €120 million in revenue for 2023. The merged entity will harness synergies to drive innovation, capture untapped market share, and ultimately emerge as a formidable player in the industry, the group stated.

Raymond de Wit, former CEO of Wiver, said, “We are very happy to have become part of Logistic Force. Both companies are active in the same market and work according to the same principles; you immediately notice that in the mutual conversations we are having.”

Martin van Dijk, CEO of Logistic Force said, “This is a fantastic next step in our growth strategy. This acquisition further motivates us in our quest for further add-on acquisitions that help to bolster our market position in the Benelux.”

Wiver is active in the transportation and logistics segment. The company was founded in 1986 and counts 10 branch offices across the Netherlands.

Logistic Force offers a combination of staffing, training and recruitment services and specialises in the transport and logistics sectors. The firm has built up a national footprint with a total of 20 branches that all have a strong presence in their local communities. The company has an annual revenue of approximately €97 million and places approximately 2,000 temp workers across the Netherlands daily.
