A job advert by OceanGate Expeditions, the company behind the doomed Titanic dive, sparked ire on TikTok, The Independent reported. The advert was removed a day after the US Coast Guard confirmed the remains of the company’s submarine, the Titan, were found on the ocean floor. It’s not known when the job advert went online, but TikTok users said the company should have removed it during the search for the submersible. Five people onboard the Titan died when the submersible imploded last week. The company, in one media report, said it was closing indefinitely and its website was offline as of Monday.
