Japanese recruitment firm Artner Co Ltd (2163: JP) reported full year revenue today of JPY 9.24 billion (USD 68.9 million), an increase of 14.1% compared to the previous year.

Artner provides employment recruitment services across Japan offering permanent, temporary, and contract staffing services. In addition, Artner is also involved in the provision of mechanical design, electrical and electronic design, software, and chemical and bio-based research and development services.
The group said demand for engineers has recovered during the period. Regarding SG&A expenses, although labour costs decreased, recruiting and travel expenses increased due to the recovery in hiring and sales activities.
Looking ahead the group forecasted revenue of JPY 9.79 billion (USD 73.0 million) for the year ended 31 January 2024.
Artner shares closed today at JPY 1,040.00 (USD 7.76), down 3.17% on the day and 8.29% below its 52-week high of JPY 1,134.00 (USD 8.46), set on 24 February 2023. The company has a market cap of JPY 11.41 billion (USD 85.1 million).
