The Court of Modena has confirmed the bankruptcy of the temporary staffing agency Trenkwalder Italia and appointed a trustee, Sido Bonfatti, according to an article in ANSA.it. 

In mid-October Trenkwalder Italia, which is not a subsidiary of the Austrian-based Trenkwalder Group, made arrangements with its creditors, a procedure that had been granted following liquidation problems in September which made it impossible to pay its staff.

There was a possibility that a branch of the company would be sold but now management has opted for the most drastic solution.

The trade body Filcams CGIL Modena was quoted as saying "There is great concern for the many employees who remain unemployed, despite strong interest by a competitor".

Trenkwalder Italia was positioned in 9^th place in our list of the Largest Staffing Firms in Italy 2016.
