Gi Group, the fourth-largest staffing firm in Italy, acquired staffing provider HumanNet Colombia, staffingamericalatina reported. This is the second acquisition Gi Group has made this week.

Based in Bogota, HumanNet supports public and private companies in the commercial, logistics, operations, industrial, mining, energy and construction sectors alongside a wide range of skills in the services sector such as technology, communications, tourism, educational, and healthcare.

Prior to the acquisition, HumanNet Colombia had been part of the Chilean headquartered staffing firm HumanNet with which GiGroup had a longstanding strategic partnership.

Prior to this acquisition, Gi Group had provided only business process outsourcing services in Colombia.

Last week, Gi Group announced that it had acquired OnTimeGroup, a German-based staffing firm.
