Irish recruitment firm Morgan McKinley announced that it has appointed Aldagh McDonogh as CEO. Founder and current CEO Pat Fitzgerald will step down and take on the position of Executive Chairman.

McDonough joined the company in 2010 where she served as transformation director.

The group also announced that it appointed Shane Doherty as its new CFO. Doherty previously worked as CFO for energy firm Gaelectric.

“These key appointments signal our plans for further growth as a market leading global recruitment business,” Fitzgerald said. “Our business has evolved constantly over the years and this is a logical progression which will create even further growth in the future. It provides a great opportunity for a next generation of leadership to take the helm.”

The company was founded in Cork by Fitzgerald in 1988.
