Germany — Computacenter picks Pontoon as MSP

Computacenter, a Europe-based provider of IT infrastructure services, chose Pontoon as its managed service provider to operate its contingent worker program at its 26 branches in Germany.

The deal was officially announced last week but began on Feb. 1 this year. The contract lasts three years, and Pontoon has already filled more than 350 new requisitions and onboarded more than 45 suppliers at Computacenter.

Pontoon is filling IT and technical roles from regular technicians to IT specialists and project managers. Worker type classifications include temporary labour and service contracts. The vendor management system being used is Fieldglass.

As part of the deal, Pontoon handles making process improvements, training and providing of analytics among other things.

“The consolidation of our considerable contingent workforce spend through Pontoon, especially through the introduction of technology, will enable Computacenter to better manage and reduce our costs,” said Any Moffitt, group professional services director for Computacenter.

Pontoon is a division of the Adecco Group.
