Goetz Fried AG, a subsidiary of Munich-based IT staffing and software firm Allgeier (AEI: GR), has acquired a majority stake in IT recruitment firm Search Consult GmbH, headquartered in Dusseldorf. 

Search Consult has specialises in recruiting for IT and telecommunications positions.

The acquisition of Search Consult, according to Allgeier, will strengthen the group’s position as one of the top three IT and engineering staffing companies in the German-speaking world. It will also extend the company’s ability to place highly qualified IT professionals in middle and senior management positions.

Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.
