France – Synergie Q2 revenue lifted by growth in France

Synergie, the French staffing firm, reported revenue yesterday for the second quarter ending 30 June 2019 of €674.2 million, an increase of 3.9% when compared to the same period in the previous year.

The group also reported turnover for the first six months ended 30 June 2019. Revenue was up 4.6% and increased by 2.2% on a like-for-like basis. The company did not provide like-for-like figures for Q2 2019.

During the H1 period, the group stated that it had a good performance in temporary employment and strong growth at DCS Easyware, the digital services company consolidated in June 2018.

Within Synergie’s international markets, the group reported mixed performances in the different geographical areas: Southern Europe reported an increase of 4.7% while Northern and Eastern Europe declined by 3.3%.

“Our active development strategy has been confirmed by the investments made over the last three years in the recruitment of expert consultants, digitisation and IT tools, intensive training initiatives for temporary and permanent employees, and the positioning of Synergie, which is now a leader in several growth sectors,” Daniel Augereau, Chairman of the Management Board, said. “Confident in its performances and benefiting from a stronger financial structure, the group is actively seeking opportunities for external growth, primarily in Europe.”

In trading yesterday, Synergie traded at €30.15, up 2.03% on the day. Based on its current share price the company has a market value of €734.51 million.
