French professional services group Samsic has purchased an 80% stake in Spanish temporary employment firm Top Perfil (Top Profile) and recruitment specialist Eco Gamma Alfa.

Both Top Perfil and Eco Gamma Alfa were both owned by Luis Alberto Taibo and Susana Gutiérrez, who will be selling their 80% stake. The transaction was valued at approximately €1.5 million.

Taibo will continue in a leadership role.

Last year, Samsic revenue was approximately €1.7 billion and the company employs more than 70,000 staff around the world. The company provides temporary staffing but also a range of other business services throughout Europe.

Although Samsic already operates in Iberia, it does not operate in the field of temporary employment, so the acquisition of the two firms will allow it to enter a business that it believes will grow.
