Samsic RH, the human resources division of the Samsic Group, announced that it has acquired AGEMS (Agence d'Emploi des Métiers de la Santé, translated as (Health Professions Employment Agency) a France-based healthcare recruitment firm.

Financial details were not disclosed. Post the acquisition, AGEMS will change its name to become Samsic Medical. The current management team will continue to run the business and retain a significant stake in the business.

AGEMS reported turnover of €55 million in 2022.

“This acquisition allows Samsic RH to establish itself on the temporary employment and recruitment market in the medical sector,” Samsic RH stated.

Gilles Cavallari, President of Samsic Emploi, added, “This collaboration with AGEMS will allow us to rely on a player recognised for its health expertise and to develop synergies with all of the activities and customers of the Samsic Group.”

Kamel Boudjedra, CEO of AGEMS, said, “We have chosen to partner with a service group that promotes human values that we share, and which are the foundation of our business. This partnership with the Samsic Group will allow us to develop our territorial network and serve all healthcare establishments throughout France, while benefiting from strong commercial synergies.”

The group also published an update on its FY 2022 turnover. “Samsic RH affirms its position among the leaders in human resources by exceeding the milestone of €1 billion in turnover for the 2022 financial year,” the group stated. “For 2023, Samsic RH is already in working order to better respond to the HR issues of its customers. The year will result in new openings of specialised and local branches, the development of innovative digital tools and services as well as the continuation of its international expansion.”
