France – Groupe Crit reports Q4 revenue up, boosted by domestic and international staffing

French staffing firm Groupe Crit (CEN: FP) reported revenue for the fourth quarter ending 31 December 2017 of €615.9 million, an increase of 7.5% on a like-for-like basis compared with last year.

Full-year revenue rose 12.7% to €2.42 billion, the increase was 8.5% on a like-for-like and constant currency basis.

The Staffing & Recruitment division reported full year revenue of €2.02 billion with the fourth quarter revenue for the division growing by 8.6% to €517.5 million.

French staffing revenue for the full year rose 9.6% on an organic basis to €1.53 billion. For the fourth quarter, French staffing revenue grew by 9.3% to €397.4 million.

Full year international revenue for Groupe Crit amounted to €500.1 million, an increase of 4.5% on a like-for-like basis. Fourth-quarter international staffing revenue increased by 6.5% to €120.2 million.

US full-year staffing revenue rose 15.3% to €328.6 million. Groupe Crit acquired a controlling share in Indiana-based staffing firm PeopleLink in 2011.

Spanish operations reported full year revenue of €122.6 million, posting an organic growth up 16.4%.

Fourth quarter revenue in the group’s Multi-services division grew by 23.6% to €104.7 million, up 9.5% on a like-for-like basis. The Multi-services division annual revenue amounted to €412.7 million, up 9.3% on a like for-like basis.

In Airport services, which makes up 76.2% of activity of the division, full year revenue increased to €314.6 million, which was up 9.3% on a like-for-like basis. Q4 revenue grew by 11.4% organically. The International Airport business benefitted from the integration of Cobalt Ground Solutions, which the group acquired in 2016. The integration of this company doubled the annual international airport revenue to € 88 million.

“The strong 2017 revenue will positively impact the full year results,” Groupe Crit said. “For 2018, all the indicators are positive. In France, the group should continue to fully benefit from the good conditions in markets demand. On international markets, the perspectives are also favorable both for the Staffing and the Multi-services divisions.”

Shares in Groupe Crit were up 0.26% to €76.90 at close of market in Europe. The company had a market cap of €865.1 million.
