France – Group Crit revenue rises 3% in Q3

French staffing firm Groupe Crit reported revenue rose 3.0% in the third quarter when adjusting for constant currency and acquisitions to a total of €648.8 million.

International revenue edged up 1.4% in the quarter when adjusting for constant currency and acquisitions.

Groupe Crit, based in Paris, provides staffing as well as services to airports.

For the first nine months of the year, revenue rose 4.3% organically to €1.86 billion.

International revenue amounted to €435.9 million in the first nine months and was impacted by unfavourable exchange rates. On a like-for-like basis and constant currency, revenue over the period edged up 1.3%.

Groupe Crit operates in two divisions: staffing & recruitment division and multi-services division.

For the first nine months, the staffing & recruitment division posted revenue of €1.54 billion. Third-quarter revenue increased by 1.6% to €529.4 million.

Within the staffing & recruitment division, French staffing activities revenue (76.3% of staffing division) amounted to €1.17 million in the first nine months of the year, posting a sustained organic growth up 4.2%. International operations revenue (23.7% of staffing division) amounted to €366.4 million down 3.6%, impacted by unfavourable exchanges rates.

For the first nine months of the year, Multi-services division revenue amounted to €339.4 million, rising by 10.2%. Third-quarter revenue amounted to €125.3 million, increasing by 12.4% (up 10.3% at constant perimeter and exchange rates). Airport services, which makes up 78% of activity of the division, reported that revenue for the first nine months increased by 11.8% to €264.7 million (up 11% at constant perimeter and exchange rates), driven by growth in France (up 14.4%) with international seeing growth of 5% during the period.

Shares in Groupe Crit yesterday closed at €61.50, down 2.4% on the day. Based on its current share price the company has a market value of €691.8 million.
