France – Freelance.com revenue rises 25.1% on back of strong domestic growth

French online staffing platform Freelance.com (EPA: ALFRE) reported revenue today for the second quarter ended 30 June 2019 of €57.6 million, an increase of 25.2% when compared to the previous year.

This was the 14th consecutive quarter of double-digit growth for the company.

Revenue for the six months ended 30 June 2019 stood at €111.3, an increase of 25.2% compared to the previous year.

Revenue was broken down as follows.

The group reported growth of 32% in France for the first half of the year to €83.9 million. France made up 75% of consolidated total sales of the group for the first half of the year.

Internationally (Germany, Morocco, Singapore, Switzerland), the group reported growth of 9% in the first half of 2019 to € 27.4 million. International growth made up 25% of total sales.

“The year 2019 should continue with good growth and solid fundamentals, benefiting both the commercial activity initiated last year and the signing of many contracts framework this year,” Freelance stated.

The group reported that it is ‘very confident’ in achieving its 2019 targets of more than €220 million in sales and €7 million in operating income.

In the longer term, Freelance.com aims to exceed the threshold of €500 million turnover in five years.

Freelance.com set a new 52-week high during today's trading session when it reached €2.62. Over this period, the share price is up 46.59%. The company last traded at €2.58, up 4.03% on the day. Based on its current share price the company has a market value of €89.64 million.
