French online staffing group Freelance.com (EPA: ALFRE) reported Director General Claude Tempé will resign from his post, effective Jan. 25, 2019.

Tempé announced his resignation at the Dec. 17-18 board of directors meeting. He plans to devote more time to staffing projects but will continue to support the group, according to Freelance.com.

Tempé, along with Director-General delegate Cyril Trouiller, joined Freelance.com in 2015.

In view of the termination of their duties, the board decided to no longer separate the functions of president and general manager. Sylvestre Blavet will thus assume the functions of chairman and CEO of the Freelance.com group as of Jan. 26, 2019.
