French recruitment firm Fed Group has announced that it is expanding into the IT recruitment market with the launch of a new office called Fed IT.

Fed IT will be led by Amaury de Thibault, a senior consultant with the Fed Group. He previously worked as a recruitment consultant with Aston Carter and TEKsystems.

"Careers in IT are complex,” de Thibault said. "Our consultants understand the issues and needs of companies that are facing new challenges due to digitalization.”

"Specialisation is in the DNA of Fed Group because it allows us to guarantee the best service to our customers,” Vincent Picard, partner in Groupe Fed, said.

The group states that its short-term goal is to gather a team of four IT recruitment consultants and develop the firm.

Earlier this year, the Fed Group launched Fed Health to expand into the healthcare recruitment market.
