Europe - Report says 15.4% of unemployed in Q4 found work in Q1

Eurostat reports 15.4% of people unemployed in the European Union in the fourth quarter of last year had found employment in the first quarter of this year. Turkey posted the highest percentage of people moving from unemployment to employment at 32.3% among countries tracked where figures were available; it was followed by Switzerland at 32.2%.

Of those initially in unemployment in Europe in the fourth quarter, 65.7% remained unemployed in the first quarter and 18.9% moved toward economic inactivity.
