Jobs website Monster announced personnel changes for Monster Europe as well as Monster DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland).

The group announced that Marc Irmisch-Petit has become Monster Europe's new General Manager with an effective date of 1 July 2018. Monster also announced that Sylvia Edmands will take over the management of the DACH region.

Prior to being appointed as Monster Europe’s General Manager, Irmisch-Petit was Vice President & General Manager Central Europe for Monster Worldwide Germany. He was also a senior sales director for Monster Worldwide Germany. Prior to joining Monster Irmisch-Petit worked with Telefònica o2 Germany as well as Microsoft and Hewlett-Packard.

Prior to joining Monster, Edmands held management positions with AOL in the UK and at Telefónica and Payback in Germany. She also worked for security solutions firm Assa Abloy in the US and Sweden.

"The DACH management team will report directly to Sylvia Edmands and together they will continue to promote the development of the region,” Irmisch-Petit said. “I am delighted that Sylvia Edmands has been a champion of digital change because that is exactly what the HR sector needs. I will focus on European issues in the future to further strengthen the Monster markets.”
