Europe – Ik Blink Group acquires Spanish recruitment firm Temporales

25 October 2022

Dutch HR services firm Ik Blink Group announced that it has acquired Spanish recruitment firm Temporales.

Financial details were not disclosed.

Temporales aims to address the gap between the staff shortages in Northern Europe and the availability of labour potential in Southern Europe and Latin America. From its offices in Madrid, Lisbon and Athens, Temporales mediates more than 6,000 people annually for jobs in the Netherlands and Germany. The group focuses on the Logistics & Industry, Hospitality, Care, Technology, Finance and IT sectors.

'With the acquisition by the Ik Blink Groep, Temporales can accelerate its ambition to grow in various sectors and give substance to career development,” said Manuel Diez, founder of Temporales.

Ik Blink claims the acquisition of Temporales gives the group a strong, strategic position in the international recruitment market and makes it the direct market leader in the Southern Europe region.

The company stated, “The Ik Blink Group is changing its focus from national to international as a result of this acquisition. And this shows that they strongly believe in the European labor market. It will strengthen current partnerships with hirers, intermediaries and suppliers. This enables Ik Blink Group to provide organisations in the Netherlands with high-quality personnel even faster. In the future, we want to expand the market share in Germany and build it up in the UK.”

Joost Fiévez, CEO and owner of the Ik Blink Group, said, “With Temporales we are adding a seventh label to the portfolio of the Ik Blink Group. This makes us an international organisation, and a long-cherished dream comes true for me as a Dutchman with Spanish roots. With the acquisition, we can pursue our mission even better with the Ik Blink Group and provide an answer to the ever-increasing demand for high-quality and sustainable personnel.”

The Ik Blink Group has been active in the Dutch recruitment industry since 2017.
