Estonia – On-demand staffing platform Goworkbit full year revenue rises 23.2%, but reports net loss

23 July 2019

Revenue at on-demand staffing platform Goworkabit grew by 23.3% to €2.2 million in 2018. At the same time, the company reported a net loss of €1,200, which was down from a net profit of €35,400 the year before.

"Our profitability was above all affected by the investments made in entering foreign markets and a couple of larger invoices, the recovery of which was unlikely, being charged to expenses," the company stated.

Goworkabit said its goal for 2019 is to increase its position as a provider of flexible staffing solutions.

The company, based in Tallinn, Estonia, said it plans to expand its Estonian business by 20%-30% per year and increase its profitability.

The privately-held firm was founded in 2013 and connects firms with staff, focusing on customer service, HoReCa (hotel, restaurant and café) and warehouse jobs.
