Easter season to generate over 75,000 temporary jobs in Spain

26 March 2024

Spain’s easter season will generate more than 75,000 temporary contracts through Employment Agencies and Temporary Employment Companies (ETT), reports El Español, citing data from Asempleo. This figure will be 10% higher than the same period last year, according to the estimates.

The research showed hospitality and recreational activities will account for the majority of jobs created in this campaign. Within the tourism sector, the most sought-after job profiles will be bar and dining room waiters, floor waiters, cooks and kitchen assistants, receptionists and hostesses or assistants.
